The Old Stables Furniture Company workshop began as a small collaboration between craftspeople with a shared respect for design and materials, founded with the explicit aim to design and build classic furniture that showcases the natural raw beauty of wood.

Today, Old Stables designs and manages bespoke furniture commissions, working with a small network of independent makers.

Several pieces of furniture on this site were designed and made in conjunction with the excellent Acorn French Polishing, and we continue to work with the expert craftsmen in the Acorn workshop on a regular basis.

All furniture is made to order, so all products displayed are entirely customisable.
